The show is called “Fresh Faces; Facing Vashon’s Children.” Pam: “I don’t have a lot of kids in my life these days, so to get models I put up a little notice on Facebook. I was overwhelmed with the response. In one hour I had more than 70 emails from parents! I’ve been painting beautiful kids like crazy ever since. It’s the largest show I’ve ever painted – more than 60 portraits!”
The show will open on First Friday, May 5th, from 6-8pm – at The Hardware Store Gallery – with Daryl Redeker serenading us from the balcony with kids children’s music and some Cinco di Mayo music, too. The paintings will be up through the month of May – and the show will be stop number 10 on the Vashon Island Art Studio Tour, May 6-7 & 13-14 – Saturdays and Sundays 10am-5pm.
